When Alaska woman, Kendaya Waters, drove by a man holding up a sign on the side of the road, she knew she couldn't just ignore him. She pulled over and approached the man, planning to offer him some work, but when the man explained his situation, she knew what she had to do to help him.
The man explained to Kenyada that after being laid off, his cell phone had been shut off. He was applying for jobs constantly, but without a working phone, there was no way for potential employers to get a hold of him. He would call and check in on his applications as often as possible, but the situation resulted in him missing a lot of job opportunities. If he didn't find something soon, he was going to lose his apartment too. Kenyada knew exactly what to do.
She took the man to the AT&T store and paid his phone bill for 2 months to give him some time to get back on his feet. He was so thankful for her generosity that he broke down into tears right there in the store. Afterwards, they had lunch together, and while they were eating he received a text about a possible job opportunity coming up! The timing was just too perfect. Read the full post below.
