This young man was only 19 when he died a senseless death. His mother wants to change that.

Nineteen year old, Connor Reid Eckhardt, led a life that couldn't have been happier. He was an active young man who loved life and who shared his home with a loving family.
He had a close relationship with his parents and his two younger sisters, with whom he spent a lot of time.
But his good fortune in life would one day be taken from him. And only because he made a bad decision.
Together with friends, he took the legal drug "Spice." It comes in harmless looking packets that resemble candy, but it is highly dangerous. It contains synthetic marijuana.
Connor fell into a coma and was kept on life support for four days, but his fate had sadly been determined.
After those four days, he was declared brain dead. His heartbroken family had to say goodbye to him.
Then his life support was turned off.
His parents don't want Connor's death to have been in vain. That's why they started the Connor Project Foundation. They want to warn people of the dangers of legal drugs.
Above everything, they are also seeking a ban on Spice in the United States. They are convinced that Connor wouldn't have tried the drug if he hadn't been able to easily buy it online.
For Connor it is too late, but many other lives could be saved.
Just because something is legal doesn't mean that it isn't dangerous. That's why it's all the more important to share this story. The information is of the utmost significance.
