I can’t even count how many times I’ve promised not to cry during these auditions and then this guy comes and does this.
Christian Burrows didn’t impress the judges with his first act, but when he said he also write songs they insisted he play one for them. At first he hesitated to perform an extremely personal song he wrote in memory of a brother he lost when he was a kid, but eventually gathered enough courage to perform it… The song left the judges (and millions of people who watched this) in tears. You can hear the pain in his voice.
