The Superhuman Abilities Of These Buddhist Monks Has Harvard Researchers Stunned

It’s no secret that scientists are completely fascinated by the practices of Buddhism. But why? After all, it’s not like they’re doing anything other than praying and meditating….right? Well it turns out there’s a little more to it than that. Buddhist monks do some pretty incredible things, some of which were thought to be almost physically impossible.

Deep within the confines of their minds, Buddhist monks have discovered subtle ways to manipulate their bodies. Using their nothing but their body heat and a yoga technique known as ‘g Tum-mo’, the monks in the video below completely dried off icy blankets in thirty minutes with by simply using the depth of concentration. They actually had them steaming, and in some cases raised their body temperature by 17 degrees.

Even more interesting was the effect of deep meditation on the aging process; their metabolisms were slowed by 64%. That’s enough to significantly extend a person’s lifespan! These abilities are unlocked by intense meditation and concentration- something that everyone can do. According to the monks, it’s in our nature to be able to control our bodies in such a method. Check out the mind-blowing video!
